Self-Portrait Photography Abstracted
I have been working on some new self-portraits lately. I really enjoy taking the digital photos to a realm of abstraction using textures. It gives the digital image a warmth that I usually only feed with film photography.

Double Exposed Polariod Series
This Polaroid series was shot with an old vintage Polaroid Land Camera 100. Each image was double exposed on high speed Type 667 black and white Polaroid film. The idea behind this series was to create a subjective dream world through an instant photo format. This series was one of my final projects for senior studio at the College for Creative Studies. I have written about this photographic series and several other projects in more detail in my undergraduate thesis paper.
This series was featured in two art exhibitions in 2008.
