About

Martin Thoburn is a pluralist artist working in a variety of different media.  With a background in Graphic Design and Animation and Digital Media, Martin has has produced and directed several short films both animated and live action.  He has also explored photography, live video mixing (VJing) and traditional collage.  This website is dedicated to his personal exploration in the arts.

Martin’s work is strongly influenced by the both analog and digital technologies.  Working with both modern and antique technologies sometimes in tandem his work explores the uniqueness of the medium, technology, or tool.  Often working backwards, from form to concept, he set his own limits as to how his work will be constructed.  Please take the time to view some of Martin’s animations, photographs, videos and designs here on this website.
